The setting for our preliminary task

Hello everyone!

so we were asked to take some photos of the setting where we filmed out preliminary task. when we were looking for the perfect setting we looked for a few key elements, these were: a plain room with some white washed walls so that it was easier to film and edit, we also looked for a small space so that it was enclosed to add effect to the filming, lastly we looked for somewhere with stairs and railings so it would be easier to film when Grace ran off from Tahlia.
this was the table we used and the side of a stair well, the effect of the railing helps to add to the rough and unorganised look we were going for. Also the plain walls help with editing.
this is also the table we used but from looking down at the floor which is rough looking and the mat at the back which is also dirty adds to the effect of a rough area.
these were the 2nd set of stairs which Grace runs up to escape from Tahlia, the rough wood effect on the railing was perfect for our filming as it looks not cared for.
These were the first set of stairs.
This is the door which Grace runs through to escape we used this because although it is difficult to realise the windows have a metal mesh feel to them and it also helped with the look of a basement room because it gives of the feeling that people are not meant to go down.
