Thriller Opening (Final)

Image
After producing a first draft and getting feedback on things to change and what didn't quite fit we spent time editing a bit more. Overall, I was really proud of the group I think we all pulled together and made a really good film. We respected the fact that we couldn't all do everything all of the time so we allowed each other the time and space to do what we could. I struggled with editing but after watching both Grace and Tahlia I now understand more what to do so in the future I can progress and learn more about the software! Anyway, we finally finished and we are all really proud of our work! We hope you enjoy it!

Evaluation Question 7

For our very last evaluation question we were asked 'Looking back at your preliminary task, What do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the main task?'  Comparing our preliminary task and our thriller opening i think there is a clear difference in both confidence of the group as a whole and the understanding of the technology and how to use it.  Personally, i think i improved in many ways even though i did the same job in both and took charge of filming, whilst also sharing it with Eleanor, i did gain confidence in the preliminary task which enabled me to do a lot of different shots and have many more ideas when filming our thriller opening such as attempting a 180 degree turn with the camera when Tahlia walks out the house!    I also had a go at many other shots such as a low shot filming Tahlia's feet when she is walking up the street, a long shot when Tahlia is walking down the lane and looking back and also a over the shoulder shot wh...

Evaluation Question 4&5

We decided to do questions 4&5 together because they both focused on audience, for this we filmed our answer as it was the best way to combine them!

Evaluation Question 3

For Question 3 we were asked what kind of media institution might distribute your product and why? for this i decided to use a powerpoint and i then used slide share to upload it! Evaluation Question 3 from beth allen

Evaluation Question 2

For the second evaluation question we were asked 'How does your media product represent particular social groups?' I chose to answer this using 'Prezi' as it is really interactive and makes it more interesting!

Evaluation Question 1

We were asked for our first Evaluation question 'In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and convections of real media products?' I decided to answer this through using 'Mindmeister' because I had a lot of points and it was the best way to keep them all neat but understandable! Your browser is not able to display frames.
