Preliminary Task challenge

Hi Everyone!  

we've been given a preliminary task, which is to film a short piece of footage between 1 minute and 1 minute 30 seconds and it must involve someone walking through a door and sitting down and have a conversation with another person. My group is Myself, Eleanor, Grace and Tahlia. We all have different roles so mine and Eleanor's is be the directors and sort all the filming out and editing and grace and tahlia are our actors!

so today we filmed for the first time, it was so stressful we got the camera onto this setting and we had no clue how to get it back to normal, but all we ended up having to do was flick a leaver and we were sorted! we've started filming our short story which is looking good so far! Its looking really good and we are getting sorted with the props and where we need to be but it all takes time.

The story line which we are trying to create is that a drug addict is walking into a dirty dark room and sitting down but as they walk in we see someone already sat at the table and as the sit down they have a conversation about certain drugs and a certain amount of money. As the drug addict is walking into the room we see them having flash backs to their childhood. So far we have around 30 seconds of filming and in that we have got Grace, who is playing the drug addict walking in and sitting opposite Tahlia, the drug dealer. 

Even though we weren't assigned to have a defined story line in the sort clip we chose to do this to make it more effective and so we could practice the different editing software when making the scene darker.
